Private live instruction is an excellent way to improve your language skills with personalized guidance from a teacher. This guide will walk you through the steps to book a private class.
Please note that this feature may not be available to all users. If you do not see the Live Instruction tab in your account but believe you should have access, please reach out to the program contact at your company.
Step-by-Step Guide:
Log in to your Voxy account:
Visit the Voxy website and enter your login details.
Access the Live Instruction menu:
After logging in, click on the Live Instruction tab in the top menu. You will see three options:
Group Classes
Private Classes
My Classes
Choose Private Classes:
Select the Private Classes option. You’ll be redirected to a new interface showing available teachers, sorted by your past bookings or their availability.
Filter by Availability:
Use the Filter options to find teachers available at your preferred time. You can filter by day and time to fit your schedule. If you want to find an specific teacher, you can also search by their name.
Find and select a teacher:
If you don’t have a preferred teacher, click Show me more teachers to view additional options. Once you’ve found a teacher that fits your needs, click on the Book a class button next to their name.
Select your preferred class time:
On the next page, choose the day and time for your class. You can also verify your time zone. Private classes are available in 30 or 60-minute sessions. Remember that all private classes must be scheduled at least 4 hours in advance.
Confirm cancellation policy:
Before proceeding, confirm that you’ve read and understood the cancellation policy, then click Confirm date and continue.
Choose class focus:
Select a focus for the class (Grammar, Conversation, Communication, Role Play, or Writing). You can also add details about what you’d like to discuss or improve during the class.
Confirm your booking:
After reviewing the details, click to finalize your booking. You will receive a confirmation email with all the information about your class.
View and manage classes:
Navigate to the My Classes page to view all upcoming, past, and canceled classes. Only scheduled (upcoming) classes are clickable, allowing you to view more details or make changes.
Cancel or reschedule a class:
If you need to cancel a class, select it from the My Classes page and provide a reason. You’ll have the option to immediately rebook with the same teacher if needed.
Join your class:
On the scheduled day, go to the My Classes page. Once your class is available to join, the status will change to Now and you can click Join the class to begin your session.
