Adjusting account balances

Use the Account Balances feature to issue a credit or charge an amount to a client's account.

About account balances

Clients can redeem their account balance in-studio or on the widget. An account balance can be used towards any payment that is not an initial/ first plan payment. Payment towards a balance owed (a positive balance) can only be made in-studio and not via the Widget. Clients can view their account balance by selecting Your Wallet from the Widget menu.

Issue an account balance credit

  1. From the Overview tab of the client's profile, scroll down to the section titled Client Balances

  2. Select Adjust Balance

  3. Select Issue a credit to client account if you'd like to add credits that can later be applied to in-studio purchases or select Charge an amount to client account if you'd like to add a balance owed that you can collect payment on later

  4. Enter the amount you would like to credit or have the client owe

  5. Enter in the reason for the adjustment

  6. Select Save

You will now see the client's account balance listed under Client Balance. If a client has credit, the credit will appear on the Front Desk and Widget at checkout.

Charge a Balance to a Client's Account

  1. From the Overview tab of the client's profile, scroll down to the section titled Client Balances

  2. Select Adjust Balance

  3. Select Charge an amount to client account if you'd like to add a balance owed that you can collect payment on later

  4. Enter the amount you would like to credit or have the client owe

  5. Enter in the reason for the adjustment

  6. Select Save

Buy account credit for later use

  1. Begin at the client's profile

  2. From the Overview tab, scroll down to the section titled Client Balance

  3. Select Pay Balance

  4. Enter the amount the client would like to add to their account credit

  5. Select the appropriate payment method

  6. Select Save
