How to cancel a running ad
Go to Reports.
Open the ad you want to stop.
Scroll to the bottom of the ad details and choose the cancel option, then follow the prompts.
We'll stop the ad on Facebook. It stays listed in Reports so you can still see its results and leads.
What happens to your money
The ad spend that wasn't used is refunded to the card you paid with. See Refund policy for timing and details.
Want to fix a mistake?
Facebook doesn't allow changes to an ad once it's published. To correct something, cancel the ad, then open it in Reports and click Duplicate. Make your changes to the copy and purchase it again.
If you'd rather we cancel it for you, message us with the ad name.
