Approval Time
Once you publish your ad, it goes through a very brief Facebook Ad Review Process. This process can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour. In very rare occasions the approval process may take up to 24 hours. If you check on your ad and the status still says "Pending", the approval process is still active.
Ad Denial
The most common reason a Walled Garden Facebook Ad is denied is because the description includes mention of alcohol in some fashion. For example, the words "wine cellar", "win closet", "wet bar", "bar", etc. If your ad copy includes these descriptors your Facebook Ad may be denied for violating their terms of service.
Another reason an ad may be denied is if the Ad Category does not match your ad content. For example, all Real Estate related ads MUST select Housing as the Ad Category.
