Advanced Users have the ability to manage Business Pages associated with their connected Facebook Profile. Users may manage the page profile, add lead routing contacts, connect social media accounts, and download billing history.

Use the sections below to learn how to manage your Pages tab.

Search Pages

To search for a Business Page you manage, click on Pages in the Menu, then enter the Business Page Name, Contact Name, Email or Phone number.

If the business page you are searching for is not appearing, please make sure you have Page Access to that business page. Then, try refreshing your page. If that is unsuccessful, please check your profile permission settings.

Add New Page

To add a new page to your Walled Garden dashboard, you must have Page Access to that Business Page inside of Facebook. Please ask the owner of the Business Page to grant your connected Facebook profile Page Access to the Business Page.

It's important to distinguish whether the Business Page is a Standard Page or is owned by a Business Manager in order to grant proper access. To differentiate, please check the Business Page's Page Access profiles. If a Business Portfolio Access is displayed, the page is owned by a Business Manager.

Standard Page

To grant Page Access:

  1. Log in to Facebook

  2. Click on Pages and select the desired Business Page.

  3. Click Manage beneath the profile cover image.

  4. Click Page Access in left bar menu.

  5. Click "Add New" in "People with Facebook Access"

  6. Type the name of the profile to be added.

  7. Toggle full control access.

  8. Click on "Give Access"

Strongly Recommended: all parties with "Full Control of Everything" should have 2-factor authentication turned on for their Facebook Profile AND an active third-party authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, for the highest profile security. Walled Garden is not responsible for any Facebook profile or business manager hack that occurs as the result of granting permission access to any party.

Page Owned By A Business Manager

To grant page access:

  5. Click on "All Tools" in left menu bar.

  6. Click on "Business Settings"

  7. Click on "Invite People"

  8. Enter the email address.

  9. Toggle "Full Control of Everything", then click "Next"

  10. Select Assets: select the applicable page

  11. Assign Permissions: scroll to and toggle "Full Control of Everything"

  12. Click "Invite"

Strongly Recommended: all parties with "Full Control of Everything" should have 2-factor authentication turned on for their Facebook Profile AND an active third-party authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, for the highest profile security safety. Walled Garden is not responsible for any Facebook profile or business manager hack that occurs as the result of granting permission access to any party.

Manage Page Profile

To manage the Walled Garden profile of a Business Page, click on the down arrow to open the Page profile.

Here, you may enter contact details that will be saved to the Page Profile. These details will also be the Default Lead Notification recipient. Also, you may search for the Business Page using the Business Page Name, contact name, contact email, and contact phone number saved to the Business Page.

You may update or change this information at any time.

Page Lead Notifications

Advanced Users may set up lead notification recipients for each business page. When a Lead Generation ad is published, the selected recipients will receive lead notifications to the emails and phone numbers for the lead recipient profile.

You may enter lead recipients one at a time or upload a CSV file.

  1. Enter First and Last Name

  2. Enter Email Address

  3. Enter Phone Number

  4. Click "Save".

The new contact will be added to Lead Recipient list.

Lead recipients will be available for selection during the Lead Generation ad creation process. You may select one or multiple lead recipients for each ad.

Note: Default Lead Notifications are sent to the profile contact information saved to the Business Page profile.

Page Social Media & Custom Audiences

The Social Media tab allows Advanced Users to connect their business Instagram, save their Privacy Policy (required to publish Lead Generation ads), and upload Custom Audiences.

Instagram Account

For your ads to be published to Instagram, you must have a connected Instagram account.

Privacy Policy Link

You are required to have a privacy policy to run lead ads on Facebook or Instagram. A privacy policy informs people what you will do with their information and can help build trust with your prospective and current customers. People may be more likely to share information with you based on the information outlined in your policy. It’s important that your privacy policy is accurate and honest.

Your Privacy Policy must be hosted on your website as a page to have a URL/link.

If you need a Privacy Policy, you may google Privacy Policy generators and copy-paste to your website page.

Custom Audiences

You may upload a custom audience specific to a Business Page and select that list as your target audience when publishing a new ad.

After you have created an ad, you may select your desired custom audience.

To ensure proper ad distribution for maximum reach, Walled Garden and Facebook recommend a minimum of 500 contacts in a custom audience file.

Purchase History

You may download the purchase history for a Business Page by clicking on "Purchase History" in the Business Page profile.
