What is a flash report

The flash report functions as a real-time business dashboard. It is used to compare actual performance (in terms of revenue and costs) against the budgeted expectations.

How to set up a flash report

  1. Go to the Management Portal via the 3 dots.

  2. Select Reports in the left-hand side bar. Then the available flash reports will appear in the right side.

  3. Click + New.

  4. Complete the mandatory fields.

    • Title - The name of the flash report

    • Budget Net Revenue (Weekly) - The expected revenue for the site per week

    • Budget Gross Profit (%) - The expected gross profit for the site

    • Site - The specific location this report applies to

    • First Day of Week - The starting day for the reporting week

    • Status - Indicates whether the report is active or pending

    • Force full weeks at start and end of periods - A setting that ensures each reporting period always starts and ends on a full week

Once the settings is saved, three new sections will appear.

  • Financial Periods - The pre-defined financial periods will be automatically applied to the flash report.

  • Product Hubs - This section allows you to determine which product hubs should be included in this flash report.

  • Hub Approvals - Once the product hubs are selected, the corresponding hub approvals will appear in this section. You can select the appropriate time period to review and approve the order when the remaining spend is negative.
