Once you submit your washr application at tryhampr.com/become-a-washr, here’s what happens next:

📬 Application Review

  • You will receive an email confirmation that we have received your application. If you do not, please check your spam folder.

  • If you are in a market where we are not currently hiring we you will receive an email that your application is on hold.

  • If we are hiring in your market you will receive a request for a background check from Turn. It make take as a long as 1-2 weeks to receive this request.

  • Once you've completed your background check, you will receive your Independent Contractor Agreement to sign. As soon as that’s signed, you are approved and can start washing!

📌 Response times may vary depending on market demand.

✅ If approved, you’ll receive onboarding instructions, including:

  • How to download the washr app and log in with your temporary credentials

  • A link to the washr handbook

  • Supply checklist

  • Quick-start and folding tutorial videos

  • How to join the washr community

📚 Sign up for a training

  • Take advantage of our washr training sessions. Make sure you know how to do laundry the hampr way!

⏱️ How long does onboarding take?

Most washrs complete claim and order the day that they are approved, depending on how quickly you:

  • Set up your app and profile

  • Add your bank account information

  • Order or confirm your supplies

  • Watch the training videos

👂 Haven’t heard back yet?

If you've submitted multiple applications and haven't received anything, here's what to know:

• Only your most recent application is reviewed. Re-applying doesn't move you up in the queue or speed up the process.

• We may not be actively hiring in your market. If your area isn't currently accepting new washrs, you'll receive an on-hold email.

• Check spam thoroughly.

If it has been more than 2 weeks and you have not received any email at all (not even a confirmation), reach out to us through the support bot in the app or on the web — have the name and email you used to apply, your submission date, and whether you've applied more than once handy.
