The coach journey itself will vary depending on your location in the UK, however as a general rule it will take around 24hrs or so. The coaches will take the ferry from Dover to Calais which will last approximately 1.5 hours and then will continue into resort making a couple more refreshments breaks for you to stretch your legs.
As you come into resort, your coach may stop at a supermarket before making the ascent up to your accommodation, providing you with another opportunity to grab those necessities for the week ahead at a lower cost than on the mountain. This supermarket trip will depend on timing however, as the main priority is to get you to resort in a good time; it may be closed by the time you approach resort.
Are there any rules that I need to follow on the coach?
Please adhere to the following rules while on the coach:
No smoking
Drinking alcohol is not allowed on any coaches it is against the law on French roads to consume any alcohol.
You are fully responsible for your own behaviour throughout the journey and any poor behaviour on the coaches/ferries will not be tolerated and we are within our rights to refuse you further travel.
If anybody is considered to be ‘unfit for travel’ during any part of the coach journeys, the drivers have complete authority to refuse boarding or re-boarding at any stage of the journey there and back.
Please be respectful towards coach drivers. Imagine being in their position, driving for hours with lots of noisy and excited students!
