Ribbons are different coloured labels that when linked are displayed over the product catalog entries on the product listing and shop listing pages, and anywhere the image of the product is displayed.
Ribbons can be used to highlight featured products on the front end of your shop.
Linking ribbons to products/services
Navigate to the Seller dashboard. From the LH menu, select Promotions>Ribbons.
To link a ribbon, click on the
icon alongside the ribbon you want to link. This will open the {Ribbon Name} Bind conditions form.
Configuring the Ribbon's condition setup form
Select/search for the product/service from the list that you want to bind the ribbon to. If you have product/service variants, each option value you added as inventory will be available so you can bind ribbons to those variants.
The LH side of the form provides an image of how the ribbon will be displayed on the product/service listing.
Set the bind timeframe
On the RH side, enter the start and end date you want the ribbon to be applied. If you don't want to define a time frame in which to bind the ribbon, leave the date fields blank.
Select the link type
You can select from 3 different options:
Product variant - binds to a specific product variant only
Product - binds to a product and all associated variants
Shop - binds to the shop
Select/search for the product variant/product or your shop name to bind the ribbon and click the "Save" button to apply to bind the condition.
More than one option can be linked to the same ribbon.
Linked options will be shown as a list at the bottom of the form - any linked options can be removed by clicking on the x located alongside each option.
How to manage your linked ribbons
Once you have linked ribbons to your products/services etc., they will be visible as lists under each ribbon you have linked to in the {Ribbon Name} Bind conditions window.
You can edit the linked ribbons using the following icons:
- edit the existing linked ribbon bind conditions form.
- delete the existing linked ribbon bind conditions form, and all linked products/services associated with that form.
