How do I register for self-assessment?

Once you have completed on your property you will receive an email explaining how to register. This can take a couple of weeks as we may still be waiting on information from HMRC. The email contains important information relating to your property that you will need when registering with HMRC. It also provides you with a link to our step by step guide to registering for self-assessment and how to get to the correct form to fill out.

If you don’t already have a government gateway account, we recommend choosing the Print and post form (SA401).
