How to Launch a Partnership Campaign on Wayward Boost

Step 1: Browse and Select Publisher Content


  • From the Wayward Boost homepage, click the Boost Partnership Content tab

  • Browse the Discover Partnerships page to see content your brand has been featured in across publishers

  • Click into a specific publisher to view all articles featuring your brand

  • Select the piece of content you want to generate creatives from

Step 2: Generate Ad Creatives


  1. Choose your landing page destination:

    • Direct to Retailer (default) -- sends traffic directly to your Amazon or Walmart product page. Select which product to feature and optionally add additional product image variants

    • Article -- sends traffic to the publisher article itself

  2. Click Generate Ads

Generation takes a couple of minutes. During this time, Wayward's AI engine is:

  • Analyzing the article and matched product

  • Pulling in the publisher's creative toolkit and your brand assets

  • Selecting inspiration from high-performing ads across the Wayward network

  • Grading variants for product fidelity, brand fit, quality, and relevance

Once complete, 10 publisher-compliant ad creatives will be ready for review. You can refine them using written instructions or make quick edits to product scale directly in the editor.

Step 3: Submit for Publisher Approval


Publisher approval is required for all co-branded partnership ads before a campaign can launch.

  1. Select the creatives you want to move forward with

  2. Click Submit Ads for Approval

Your submitted creatives will move into the approval queue, visible under Library → Pending Creator Approval. Publisher approvals are typically quick. Contact brands@wayward.com with any questions about the approval process.

Once approved, your creatives will appear under the Ready tab on the Creatives page.

Step 4: Launch Your Campaign


Select Ads for your Campaign:

  • Navigate to the Ad Manager tab from the left navigation bar

  • Click New Campaign

  • Select the ads you want to include. Ads are organized by destination, so you can run separate ad sets to different destinations (for example, Amazon vs. the publisher article) within the same campaign

  • Click Next

Wayward Boost offers two ways to launch your campaign:

Option A: Simplified Launch

Enter a campaign name and daily budget, then click Launch Campaign and your campaign will go live. Wayward will automatically optimize your campaign targeting and conversion settings for you.

Option B: Advanced Setup

Click Settings to manually configure your campaign step by step, including campaign objective, bid strategy, budget type, and targeting. See Launching a Partnership Campaign - Advanced Campaign Setup for a full walkthrough.
