This article explains how to use webCRM's email synchronization in Outlook

If you have integrated your Exchange account with webCRM you can set up email synchronization. This means that if you have an email in Outlook that you would also like to associate with the customer in webCRM you can synchronize this email to webCRM and have it displayed on the customer card.

Here is how to connect your Outlook with webCRM.

Within 30-45 minutes after email synchronization is switched on two folders will appear in your Outlook. They are both named "webCRM sync", one subfolder under inbox and one subfolder under sent items.

It is very important that you neither move nor rename these folders!

If you have received an email from a customer in your inbox that you would like to synchronize to webCRM you need to drag that email into the "webCRM sync" folder under the inbox. Within 30-45 minutes this email will be synchronized to webCRM.

When it has been synchronized the email will be moved to the inbox again with these two categories. These mean that the email has been synchronized:

Likewise, if you have sent an email from Outlook that you would like to associate with a customer in webCRM this can be dragged to the "webCRM sync" folder under sent items.

It is important that you drag the emails to the correct folders i.e. from sent items to the "webCRM sync" under sent items and from the inbox to the "webCRM sync" under inbox!
