Apsis/webCRM integration - Setup in Apsis

Set up one part of the integration in Apsis, where you will then be able to import contacts and consent from webCRM to Apsis

Updated over 10 months ago

BEFORE YOU START IN APSIS:

Before you set up the part in Apsis, you need to create an API key in webCRM. You can do that here:

"Read/write" has to be activated on both Organisations and Persons:

The API token/key can now be found here:

Then you go to Apsis and connect to webCRM under "Integrations":

New integration (new version, green logo)

New features in this version:

  1. You need to use a multi select list in webCRM for consent, which means that we are no longer restricted to 10 check boxes but can now have 99 options on a multi select list.

  2. You can create an activity in webCRM as part of an MA flow in Apsis

The integration is set up here:

Then the API token/key from webCRM.

Then you choose a default country code (It should be the country code, where the majority of your customers are located, and it will only be used, if a number is imported without a country number).

Now you are connected and can continue the setup in the menu to the left.

Sync conditions

Under Sync conditions, you choose which contacts you would like to synchronize, if you do not want to synchronize all contacts. Maybe you only want to sync contacts with a certain job title, for example. That should be mapped here. If you leave it empty, all contacts from webCRM will be synced to Apsis.

Note: You can also get overviews/reports from webCRM in Apsis, if you do not want to run a full sync later.

Obs: It is not possible to send profiles/contacts from Apsis to webCRM, we only send consent updates this way.

If you want to send profiles/contacts to webCRM, you have to export them from Apsis and import them to webCRM.

Field Mappings

After that, you map the fields. You can create more attributes in Apsis, if more information/fields need to be mapped.

Note: you can ONLY map to text fields and check boxes, and ONLY on contacts and organisations.

Consent Mappings

Here you map the customers' consent (multi select list in webCRM):

Full Sync

A Full Sync will get all your contacts from webCRM to Apsis (unless you have set some sync conditions, then it will only get the contacts that live up to these conditions).

Overviews/reports

If you want to import contacts from an overview/report in webCRM (it has to be made on datatype contacts/persons), you click on "New import". Then you will be able to see the overviews/reports you have built in webCRM, and you can choose the one you want to import:

You can also set an overview as recurring, meaning that if contacts are added to this overview in webCRM, they will automatically be sent to Apsis as well.

You click on "Manage" and choose which overviews/reports you would like to be recurring.

Note: These lists/overviews are only updated once per day, usually around midnight.
