If you're seeing a "Consent Expired" error, or if your Open Banking accounts aren't refreshing, it may be that your consent has expired. You'll need to renew your data-sharing consent to continue viewing your up-to-date account information.

How to renew your consent

  1. Open the WeMoney app

  2. Go to Settings (tap the cog icon in the top right corner)

  3. Scroll down to Accounts & Connections and select Open Banking

  4. Select the account you need to renew

  5. Confirm we're receiving 'Account Balance and Details' and 'Transaction Details'

  6. Tap Renew my consent

You may also need to renew consent in your bank's app as well, depending on your financial institution.

Important to know

When consent expires, your connected account data won't refresh until you renew. If consent is revoked or withdrawn, the connected account will be removed from WeMoney, and any previously assigned transaction categorisations will be lost.

If you continue to have issues after renewing your consent, please contact our support team at hello@wemoney.com.au or the chat.
