How do I categorise my recurring expenses?

When you add or edit a recurring expense in WeMoney, you can assign it a type to help organise your bills and subscriptions.

Available types

• Subscriptions

• Bills & utilities

• Other

To categorise a recurring expense

  1. Open the WeMoney app

  2. Go to Recurring Expenses (below Goals on the Home Screen)

  3. Select an existing recurring expense you want to edit, or tap the + icon to add a new one

  4. When filling in the details, choose the type of recurring expense from the three options above

  5. Complete any other details (amount, frequency, next payment date)

  6. Tap Save

For automatically detected expenses

If WeMoney has already detected your recurring expenses automatically, you can tap on any expense to edit its type and other details to make sure they're categorised correctly.

This helps you organise your recurring expenses and get a clearer picture of where your money is going each month.
