How to use the Order Management System

Learn how to change order status and talk to customers

Note that the Wemu Marketplace has three sections, and this tutorial applies to businesses that sell on the Shop and Food sections.

After a customer places an order on the Wemu Marketplace, you'll wanna know how you can process this sale.

You’ll be able to find all your online orders from the Marketplace under the Online Orders page. To access this page, click on the shopping cart icon on the left.

At this page, you’ll see the online orders you’ve received from the Marketplace. To view the details of an order, simply click on it.

Orders that come in are initially tagged with a Pending status. To let the customer know that you’ve approved the order, hover over Options and click on Approve.

One you approve an order, it’s status will change to Approved

At the same time, your buyer will also be notified that their order has been approved through the chatbot.

Once the order is approved, the next step is moving onto shipping.

Once you’ve shipped the product, you can update the status of the order and notify your customer at the same time by hovering over Options and clicking on Send to Shipping.

This automatically notifies your customer that his order has been shipped and is on its way.

Finally, once you’ve received confirmation that the order has been received, you can mark the status of the order as Done.

Note that you can chat with your customer by clicking on the chat bubble in the lower right of the screen.

You can use this opportunity to send your customers the details of their delivery or ask for their feedback on the product!
