This month, we've made some small tweaks to existing features to improve the overall user experience:
Each employee record has a unique ID number (to allow for email address changes when importing data).
Changed the layout of response options for radio button & multiple choice questions.
Export the Strengths and Opportunities.
1:1s that still require scheduling moved to the top of the listing page.
Feedback request descriptions now visible to users who have access to the feedback
Added layer of confidentiality protection - removed access to core survey links for admins
Add employee IDs to each employee record
Previously, updating email addresses had to be done manually in the platform because the email address was the unique ID for each record. Adding a new email address created a new record rather than updating an existing record.
Now, we've given each record a unique number which now acts as the identifier for each record.
People data can now be exported and email addresses can be updated in the spreadsheet and re-imported along with all other datapoints e.g. team, location, manager etc.
Every record will have a WeThrive record ID, but if you decide to add in your own 'Organisation ID' against all records, the system will then rely on these to update records rather than the WeThrive record ID automatically assigned to a record.
If you need assistance adding your IDs onto your existing dataset, contact your Account Manager or support@wethrive.net and the team can help you map these into your existing dataset.
Updated layout for radio button/multiple choice questions
The answer options for radio button/multiple choice questions previously displaying in two columns. This didn't look quite right if answers were options such as numbers of 1-5, or strongly disagree/disagree/neither agree nor disagree/agree/strongly agree.
We've updated this to show all answer options in one column. See example below of new layout:
Export strengths and opportunities
When running an engagement survey, you can include two optional questions - please tell us what's great about work/if you could change one thing for the better what would it be?
The responses to these two questions then appeared on the results dashboard in the 'Strengths and Opportunities' section. However they couldn't be exported from the system with the comments left for other questions.
These comments can now be exported with all other team comments from the survey by clicking the 'Export comments' button on the results dashboard as circled below.
Re-ordering of 1:1 meeting agendas
If a 1:1 has been set up with a due date but has not yet been scheduled with a specific date and time, this will appear at the top of the 1:1s listing page to ensure the user knows this still requires a date and time to be set, and does not get lost in the list. If the due date passes, it will move down the list.
Feedback request descriptions now visible to users who have access to the feedback
Previously when requesting feedback, the user could add a description regarding the type of feedback they'd like from the feedback providers. However, once the feedback was given, this description was not available to the users who could access that feedback. This meant they could see the feedback given but no information about the initial request. Now, if a user has visibility of requested feedback, they can view the description sent to the feedback provider(s).
Survey links for core surveys no longer accessible to administrators
Previously, survey links could be accessed for engagement, mental health and DEEI surveys in order for administrators to be able to copy and paste these to employees who may have lost their link. As an added layer of confidentiality protection, we have removed administrator access to these links.
However, the WeThrive customer support team are still able to access these on an administrator's behalf so if you need these please contact your Account Manager or support@wethrive.net.
