Add your own employee IDs to employee records

Add employee IDs from your HRIS to your WeThrive dataset for easier updating

You can add employee IDs to your employee records in WeThrive. Doing this will make it easier to update information and check against the information you store for these employees in your HRIS e.g. when needing to update email addresses, or deactivate leavers.

All WeThrive employee records automatically have a 'WeThrive employee ID' assigned to them already.

To add in your own IDs to these records simply follow these steps:

  1. Go to People

  2. Click Export to export your data into a spreadsheet

  3. Against your employees, you will see the WeThrive IDs. Leave these in the spreadsheet as they will need to be uploaded with your new org-specific IDs.

  4. You'll also see a column labelled Org employee ID (optional). Populate this column with the IDs you use in your HRIS (an XLOOKUP formula can be used to do this - your Account Manager can support with this!)

  5. Once added, save as a CSV.

  6. Go back to your WeThrive People page and click Import

  7. Choose your file and upload this. Your org IDs will then automatically be added to records.
