After hundreds of development hours we're delighted to launch our latest product release. It is a game-changer release and sets a foundation for future updates that will ensure our customers always have the best product possible.

New UI - full width screen and bigger charts

The whole app is now optimised for a 1280 width monitor - this means that at this size the app will fill the whole screen. We also reduced the depth of the header and navigation so that as much of the screen as possible is available to use.

This means whether you are working with long lists on the people page or looking at charts and analysis you can see more and scroll less.

We also took the opportunity to update the look and feel with a new menu navigation header, we hope you like the way it looks and works!

Strengths and Opportunities - helping you do more of what's working

The last version of WeThrive did a fantastic job of getting to the root cause of problems at work. Several customers suggested it would be great to uncover what is working well and why. So we added in two new optional questions to the survey that ask what do people love about working for you and another asking what would they change.

You can choose whether to ask these new questions when you set up a survey to send. The new outputs can be accessed from either the dashboard or from the top chart on the reports page.

Helping to slice and dice data with locations, departments and teams

Previously your 'team' was the primary key for a staff member. Having reviewed a number of other leading HR tools we have added keys for Location and Department, and you can now run a report based on a mix of these.

As with Team, Location and Department are stored with each survey, so if someone moves from one to another it does not change the results for that unit in the past.

Filters then allow you to refine that report, based on the options you have added as filters. You can have any number of these.

Ensuring using WeThrive is an engaging experience for your staff

We have made three key updates in this area.

  • Survey send time - you can now specify the time at which the survey is sent.

  • Survey reminders - we thought it would be better if WeThrive emails were only sent out within normal working hours... Not everyone wants to receive emails at midnight! So email is now sent between 8.00 and 18.00, and any that are due to be sent after 18.00 will be sent the following day at 8.00. Obviously weekends are off limits to work emails too.

  • Thank you email - you now have the option of automatically sending a thank you email to people who have completed their survey. We all know the power of a thank you!

Excel import for people data

You can now import your staff list using an excel upload process - this means you can add thousands of staff in one hit and automatically set up the primary keys (team, location, department) and your filters.

Inline editing on people page

Just click on a name or email address and it becomes instantly editable - and it looks so much better than before. You also have paging for larger lists making it easier to work with long lists of people.

Turning off notifications

In your profile you can switch off survey completion notifications. We all get loads of email already so if you want a bit less you can switch this off too.

New servers

Oh, and last but not least, we are upgrading our server setup to ensure maximum speed, performance and reliability.

New way of getting help and support - faster and in context

We have also installed Intercom.io in the app. This means you can chat and ask questions with one of the team in real-time by clicking on the icon in the bottom right of the screen.

If nobody is available you can leave a message or email support@wethrive.net as usual.
