Switch on Slack survey notifications

Allow employees to receive their survey via your Slack channel

You can now integrate WeThrive with your Slack workspace to enable employees to receive their survey link via Slack. To set up your integration, follow these steps.

The next step is to turn on Slack notifications for your employees so they can receive their survey links via your Slack workspace.

PLEASE NOTE: At this time you cannot edit the notification wording sent via Slack.

All you need to do is allow for your employees to receive Slack notifications in the People table.

Edit a specific individual

  1. Go to the People table in WeThrive.

  2. Edit an individual employee and for 'Preferred notifications', select Slack or Both as the option, and click Save.

    This user will then receive any survey links/reminders/thank you messages via Slack or both Slack and Email.

Bulk edit people

  1. Go to the People table.

  2. Click the orange Export All button to download your data into a spreadsheet.

  3. In the Preferred notification column, change the users you want to receive Slack notifications to either Slack (to receive via slack only) or Both (to receive via Slack and email).

  4. Save the spreadsheet as a .csv file.

  5. In WeThrive, go back to the People table.

  6. Click Import.

  7. Upload your file and Begin import.

  8. When successfully uploaded, this should update your user's preferred notification settings.
