View the 4 email templates used when sending a performance review questionnaire to individuals or teams

When sending a set of performance review questions to your team, you can choose which emails to include during the set up. There are 4 emails you can include:

  • Survey email - mandatory - sent with personal link to questionnaire.

  • Warm up email - optional - sent 24 hours before the survey email, or if there is not enough time it will be sent as soon as you schedule the review.

  • Auto-reminder emails - optional - sent 3 times during open period

  • Thank you email - optional

View the templates used for each email below.

The Survey email is mandatory as this includes a link to the individual's questionnaire. However, the other email types are optional.

Survey email

Subject line: Your organisation has sent you a short performance review to complete.

Hi NAME,

Your organisation has sent you a set of questions aimed at reviewing your goals and performance, to understand what’s working well, where you’d like to improve and where we can better support you.

Please click the link below to answer a few questions or copy and paste the link into your browser. The link is only for you so please do not pass it on to anyone else.

Your answers are not anonymous - your scores and comments are attributed to you. These answers may help inform your next 1:1 so please be as open and honest as possible.

Warm up email

Subject line: A new review process begins soon

This email is to let you know that we will shortly be sending you a short set of questions to complete.

These questions are designed to help us understand what’s working well for you, what you’re finding challenging, evaluate the goals you have been working towards, and how we can better support you.

Shortly you will receive another email with a link to complete your questions. Please complete these in one go and as soon as you can.

Your responses will not be anonymous - your scores and comments will be attributed to you.

These answers can help form the basis of your next 1:1 so please be as open and honest as possible.

When the email arrives with your link, please jump right in!

Auto-reminder/Reminder email

Even if you choose not to include auto-reminders, you can still trigger bulk manual reminders from the Settings page of the Review, or individual reminders from the View Responses page of your Review.
