What is covered in this article? | How to complete the hidden manager section of the 1:1 agenda, and log feedback about the employee using the 'talent snapshot' |
Who is this article for? | Admins, Executives & Managers |
Within the 1:1 agenda, there is a section to add manager notes and comments that your employee will not be able to view. When the agenda is shared with employees, the manager section is hidden.
1. Hover over Reviews and select 1:1 Meetings.
2. Scroll down and find the agenda that you'd like to access in the table - click the Edit icon.
3. Scroll down until you see the 'Manager only (hidden to employees)' section - expand the section using the arrow icon.
Add private notes and manager goals
4. Add any private notes/observations that you would like to keep a record of (e.g. performance concerns, promotion eligibility). You can also add a new goal if there are actions following the 1:1 that you need to complete as the manager.
Complete the 'Talent Snapshot'
5. Fill out a 'Talent Snapshot' for your employee (visible only to yourself as a manager, as well as administrators & executive users), to evaluate if they are performing in line with expectations based on a series of categories and assessing areas such as salary and progression.
Note: Make sure to click 'Submit' on the talent snapshot, otherwise this won't save!
Where to find a summary of your team's Talent Snapshots
On your homepage, click on the My team tab to view information related to your team.
Here you'll find a Talent snapshot widget summarising the feedback you've given about your team members - see below image.
Click on View all to view a page where you can filter your snapshot information based on the responses given e.g. filter the page to view all team members who have been given snapshot feedback of 'Promotional assessment' - 'Look to promote'.
Note: Your talent snapshot responses will only contribute to this summary once the agenda has been saved as 'read only'.
