We've made some improvements to the 1:1 feature in WeThrive to allow you to:

  • Create multiple 1:1s at once.

  • Send multiple meeting agendas at once.

  • Use conversation templates to speed up your 1:1 agenda creation.

  • Change the manager completing the 1:1 meeting.

  • Update the date/time of a meeting and notify both parties.

  • Resend meeting agendas for past 1:1 meetings.

Create multiple 1:1 meetings at once

Previously, as a manager, you were only able to set up 1 meeting agenda at time, making it a time-consuming process for managers with larger teams. To free up manager resource and help speed up the 1:1 creation process, managers can now set up multiple 1:1 meeting agendas at once.

Using the new 'Set up multiple 1:1s' option on the Reviews > 1:1 Meetings page, you can now:

  • Set a due date for all 1:1s to be completed (set specific dates/times for each 1:1 once created).

  • Create multiple agendas using a WeThrive template (more on these below), or create a custom agenda template.

  • Select multiple employees to create a 1:1 meeting agenda for.

Send multiple meeting agendas at once

From the 1:1 Meetings page, you can now send PDF meeting agendas in bulk by ticking the box next to each 1:1 meeting you want to send agendas for.

The agendas will then be sent to both the employee and manager for every 1:1 selected, even if a date and time has not yet been set of the 1:1 meeting.

You can bulk-send agendas for both 1:1s that are yet to happen, and 1:1s that have already been saved as 'read only'.

Apply conversation templates when creating agendas

As a manager, it can be difficult to pinpoint the right questions to ask employees during 1:1 meetings, or to know which results and feedback you should be reviewing. To help with this, we've created new 'conversation types' that automatically pull in the relevant survey results, goals, OKRs, and peer to peer feedback based on the conversation type.

Example

The 'Engagement' template will automatically pull in the highest and lowest scoring team scores from the engagement survey for all employees, as well as any incomplete goals that each employee is the owner of.

Add talking points when setting up multiple 1:1 agendas

As part of each conversation template, a set of talking points are added to the agenda automatically to help managers steer the conversation without having to think about where to start.

When setting up multiple agendas at once, managers can also choose from a selection of 'talking points' from across the templates to customise the agenda further.

Employees can request a particular conversation type using the templates

When requesting a 1:1 with their manager, employees can now select a particular conversation type during their request to automatically use one of the templates provided e.g. Engagement, Performance, Goal Progress, Wellbeing etc. This will automatically pull in relevant results, goals, feedback to the agenda, which they can then edit.

Change the manager listed as completing the 1:1 meeting

Administrators can now set up meeting agendas on behalf of managers, and change the manager that is listed as completing the 1:1 meeting. This can be done by clicking into an agenda and 'editing' the first part of the agenda.

Once a manager is updated, any future notifications will be sent to the manager who is now listed as completing the 1:1 meeting with the employee, including PDF agendas and date & time notifications.

Update the date/time of a meeting and notify both parties

When a user updates the date and time of a meeting with the 1:1 meeting agenda, both users will now receive an email notification with the new date and time, and the ability to add the meeting to their calendar via an email attachment.

Re-send meeting agendas for past 1:1 meetings

Previously, when a 1:1 meeting was 'saved as read only', a PDF summary of the agenda was sent to both the employee and manager. However, it could not be resent after this point.

Meeting agendas can now be resent at any time following the 1:1 being saved in it's locked 'read only' format. This means that managers can resend previous meeting agendas to themselves and their employees ahead of their next 1:1 to remind themselves of the conversation that was had, and any agreed actions that were sent.
