Choosing a template
Updated over 4 months ago

Whippet Notes makes it easy to customise your consult notes using templates tailored to your practice’s needs. Our Template Gallery offers a variety of options, from bullet point formats to differential diagnosis (DDx) layouts. You can also select templates with default values like "Not Mentioned," "NAD," or "WNL."

Explore the Template Gallery

  • Click here or find the Template Gallery button in the bottom left corner of your dashboard.

  • Use filters to find templates by bullet point format or DDx format.

Preview & add templates

  • Click the “Preview” button to view an example of the template.

  • If it’s a good fit for your practice, click “Add to Practice Account” to add it.

  • Once added, a green tick will appear next to the template in the gallery.

Set a default template

  • To make a template your default for future consults, navigate to Settings > Templates.

  • Select your preferred template from the dropdown menu and click “Set Default Template”.

Generate notes using a new template

  • When you’re ready to use a template during a consult, simply select it from the “Select Template” option in the top right corner of the consult screen.

  • After generating notes, they’ll appear under the current notes section within a minute or two.
