How to start using Whippy before your integration is complete — and ensure all messages are synced once it goes live.

Overview
You don’t need to wait for your ATS, CRM, or other system to be fully integrated to start using Whippy. You can begin messaging candidates, customers, or employees right away. And once your integration is complete, we’ll make sure none of those early conversations are lost.


How It Works
When your integration is finalized, our team will run a backfill to sync all previous messages into the correct profiles in your connected system. This includes every conversation you’ve had since you started using Whippy.

Why This Matters

  • No lost messages: All conversations will appear in your ATS, CRM, or other system

  • Faster launch: You can start engaging right away

  • Complete history: Full communication logs from day one


What You Need to Do
If your integration isn’t complete but you’d like to start using Whippy, go ahead and start messaging. Our Customer Success team will ensure your integration request includes a note for Engineering to run a backfill once the connection is live. No extra steps needed from you.
