Why it matters

Step-by-Step: Update channel overview details
Open Settings > Channels.
Select the channel you want to update.
Open the Overview tab.
Update Channel Icon, Channel Name, Description, Address, or Place ID as needed.
Click Update Channel Details.
Return to the Channels list and confirm the channel is recognizable.
Tips and Best Practices
Use a channel name that teammates will recognize quickly.
Keep descriptions short and practical.
Only update address and Place ID when the channel uses location details.
Review channel Users after renaming a channel so access remains clear.
Troubleshooting
