COMMON ISSUE: Make sure to see actual wallet address NOT the one you generated while creating the API. See Step 3 #5.
Step 1: Open Hyperliquid’s API Key Page
Go to: https://hyperliquid.xyz/api
Make sure your wallet is connected (top right of the page)
You’ll see a section titled API Keys
Step 2: Generate a New API Key
Click Create API Key
Optionally enter a name (e.g.,
WickHunter)Click Create
Hyperliquid will generate:
Private Key (Copy this BEFORE hitting Authorize)
Important
Copy and save your API Secret immediately!
You will only see it once — if you lose it, you’ll need to create a new key.
Step 3: Connect to Wick Hunter
Open your Wick Hunter dashboard
Click Connect Exchange
Select Hyperliquid
Choose Manual Connect
Paste the following:
Wallet Address (actual wallet address)
Private Key (copied from before)
Give the connection a name (e.g. "Hyperliquid – WickHunter")
Click Connect
You're All Set!
You’ve successfully connected Hyperliquid to Wick Hunter via API. You can now start running bots and automated strategies directly on-chain.
Troubleshooting
Make sure your Private Key and Wallet Address were pasted correctly
Wick Hunter does not support withdrawal functionality — trading only
If your connection fails, delete the API key and create a new one
