Important information regarding your Wipster account:

1.) Legacy Accounts will be discontinued July 7th

2.) Major platform updates will require legacy users to sign up for a new

plan to avoid interruption

3.) Pricing and Team Structure have changed

If you have a Legacy Wipster account, you’ve been with us a long time – and we couldn’t be more grateful to have you grow with us. Since day one, it’s been our goal to create the best-in-class review and approval solution, to help teams create their best work.

Here at Wipster, we’ve been hard at work doing just that - creating the next generation to make your experience even better.

We’re enhancing the user interface, adding new features, expanding accessibility, optimizing processing capabilities, and refining our product structure to make the ease of sharing, reviewing, and approving more efficient and cost effective.

With the expansion of our product services, our legacy users will need to migrate to a new account (and likely reorganize their Team structure) to make sure they have access to the most up-to-date features that we’ve rolled out with the latest version of Wipster.

Even as the platform evolves, our focus remains the same – make the collaboration process as effortless as possible. We would like to invite you to join us in the evolution of Wipster by updating your account. Not only will you receive the benefits of our latest updates, you’ll also have the opportunity to optimize your team's pricing plan and get the greatest value available.

What is Happening?

As you may have noticed, we recently released a major overhaul of our mobile experience - and the desktop experience update is right around the corner. As we transition to our next generation desktop experience, Legacy customers who have not upgraded will unfortunately no longer be able to access the Wipster service, as these old account types will not be compatible with our new system. Luckily, upgrading requires only a few simple steps, as you’ll see below.

We’re excited to share Wipster’s evolution of our desktop and mobile experiences as well as enhancements to our comprehensive user experience and workflow performance. And these changes are just the beginning. With our new platform, our ability to innovate and optimize will be faster than ever, providing you with features and an experience that best serves you and your team.

When is this Happening?

July 7th, 2022.

At that time, you will no longer be able to renew a legacy plan. Customers with these plans will retain access to the service but only through the remainder of their current license.

What’s the difference?

Our modern plans still allow you to share assets with an unlimited number of reviewers, whether they’re on your team or external. You will also be able to upload an unlimited number of videos, pdfs, audio files, and images up to your storage cap - 250 GB to start, with pricing plans for more space, as needed.

You’ll also have immediate access to the new features you’ve been missing out on, such as project status management, closed captioning support, and our vastly improved dashboard that makes tracking your projects easier than ever.

Simply put, our new Team plan gives you the latest and greatest version of Wipster as well as access to new features as we roll them out. (And we have a lot more coming!)

What do I need to do?

First, you’ll want to determine who on your team needs a seat. Check out this article for more detail about what a seat is and who needs one.

Generally, the only members of your team that will require seats are team admins, those who need to make uploads, and anyone needing to share content for review, making your plan rate much more efficient. You might also consider an additional guest seat for that VIP Client of yours, or a key stakeholder within your organization. Everyone else can view, review, and approve assets that are shared with them via email or URL, without the need for a paid seat. You can manage who on your team will get an active seat moving forward through the ‘Account’ tab in your Team Settings.

From there, it’s simple. Navigate to the ‘Upgrade’ tab within your Team Settings and follow the prompts. That’s it! Anything you’ve paid on your current license will be credited toward the upgrade.
