Getting Started with Camera Sharing
To share your cameras with others, follow these simple steps:
Access the Sharing Menu
Open the HuntControl app, tap the profile icon in the top-right corner, and select "Sharing."Add a Camera to Share
Tap the "+" button in the top-right corner.
Select one or more cameras you’d like to share from your list.
Enter the email address of the person you want to share the camera with.
Customizing Permissions
When sharing a camera, you can control the level of access by selecting specific permissions for the recipient, such as:
Delete: Allow them to delete images.
Tag Images: Enable them to tag photos for better organization.
Request XL Images: Grant them the ability to request higher-resolution images.
Change Category: Let them categorize images as needed.
After selecting the permissions, tap the "Share" button at the bottom to finalize the sharing process.
What Happens Next?
If the recipient already has a HuntControl account, the shared camera will automatically appear under their "Shared with Me" section.
If they don’t have an account, they’ll receive an email prompting them to create a free HuntControl accountto view the images. Note: Free accounts can only view shared images; they cannot add cameras.
Managing Shared Cameras
Once you’ve shared a camera, you’ll see the recipient’s email address listed in the Sharing section, along with the cameras you’ve shared. From here, you can:
Edit permissions for the user.
Add more shared cameras.
Remove shared access entirely.
Accessing Shared Cameras
If someone has shared a camera with you, here’s how to view the images:
Filter Shared Images
Tap the Filter button at the bottom-left corner of the Image Gallery.
Check the "Shared with Me" box at the top.
Apply the filter to view images from all shared cameras.
Editing Shared Images
If the camera owner has granted you permissions, you can tap on any shared image to edit it with the more button at the bottom right, such as tagging or changing its category.
Viewing Shared Cameras
Navigate to the Cameras tab and select the Shared Cameras section to see a list of all cameras shared with you.
