Wiser widgets can be added to different pages of your Shopify store directly from the Wiser admin.
Follow the steps below to add, enable, and customize a widget.
Step 1: Enable the Wiser app
Before adding a widget, you first need to enable the Wiser app in your Shopify theme.
In the Wiser admin, go to Get ready to Wiser.
Under Activate the app, click on the button "Disabled"
The button will take you directly to the Shopify theme editor.
Enable the Wiser – AI Upsell Cross Sell app embed.
Click Save.
Step 2: Add the Wiser Widget Block
Once the Wiser app is enabled:
In the Wiser admin, click Add App Block. This will take you to the Shopify Theme Editor.
Select the page where you want to display the widget, such as the Homepage, Product page, Collection page, or Cart page.
Click Add block.
Select the Wiser widget block.
Position the widget where you want it to appear on the page.
Click Save.
Step 3: Enable the Widget for the Page
After adding the Wiser widget block to your desired page:
Go back to the Wiser admin.
Click Setup Widgets.
Select the page where you want the widget to appear.
Enable the widget for that page. If it is already enabled, you can leave it as it is.
Click Save to apply your changes.
Once enabled, the widget will start displaying on the selected page.
Step 4: Customize the Widget
After enabling the widget, you can customize its appearance, content, and settings from the Wiser admin.
You can adjust the widget to match your store’s design and select the recommendation type you want to display.
The available customization options include:
General Settings
Adjust the overall widget layout and appearance.
Text
Customize the widget heading, product titles, and other text settings.
Add to Cart Button
Customize the appearance and settings of the Add to Cart button.
Price
Customize how product prices are displayed.
Product Image
Adjust the product image settings and appearance.
Product Reviews
Choose whether to display product reviews and customize their appearance.
Currency Converter
Enable and customize the currency converter displayed within the widget.
Out of Stock
Control how out-of-stock products are displayed.
Wishlist
Enable wishlist functionality for products in the widget.
Custom CSS
Add custom CSS to further customize the widget’s appearance and match your store’s design.
