Access your WIU Google Drive folder and create a new Google Doc. Once your Google Doc is finished, select Share at the top right of the page.
Change the permission to Anyone with the link and verify that the role is set to Viewer. Then select Copy link.
Navigate to your Schoology course. Select the gear icon to the right of the assignment name, and then select Edit.
In the description, fully explain the assignment instructions. Below your instructions, type a descriptive link to your Google Doc worksheet.
Start with the words Google Doc: so students can distinguish the Google Doc link from your uploaded Word document.
After Google Doc:, add the worksheet title.
After the worksheet title, add (opens in new tab) for accessibility.

Highlight the link text and select Inline link from the text editor toolbar.
Paste in the Google Doc link you copied. At the end of the link, replace /edit?usp=sharing with /copy. This prompts the student to make a copy of your worksheet.
Check the box next to Open link in new tab, then select Save Changes.
For accessibility:
Highlight the link text and select Underline from the text editor toolbar.
Change the font size to 16 pt.
Change the font color to Blue.
Additionally, upload the assignment as a Word document for students who may not be able to view the Google Doc. When finished editing the assignment, select Save Changes.
