There may be times when you need to edit a student’s enrollment Start and/or End Dates in Genius. For example, you made an error when enrolling the student and selected the wrong dates. Another example might be that your school district starts on a different date than eAcademy, and you would like to edit the enrollment Start Date to align with your school district’s Start Date.

Pay close attention to the enrollment START DATES and END DATES.

Semester 1 or A Course

Start Date: 08/22/2023 or current date after 08/22/2023

End Date: 01/08/2024

Semester 2 or B Course

Start Date: 01/09/2024 or current date after 01/09/2024

End Date: 05/17/2024

Full Year Course

Start Date: 08/22/2023 or current date after 08/22/2023

End Date: 05/17/2024

Locate the student’s account. At the top right of the page, enter the student’s name in the Search box, then click the student’s name to access the account.

From the left navigation menu under Actions, click Current Enrollments.

Click Edit (pencil icon) to the left of the course name.

Edit the Start Date field, if applicable.

NOTES: If you are enrolling a student on 09/21/2023, the Start Date typically should remain as 09/21/2023. In this case, do not change the Start Date to 08/22/2023 or any date prior to the current date as this will affect billing.

~ Type the desired or correct date in the Start Date field or use the calendar to select the correct Start Date.

~ Semester 2 or B Enrollment Start Date: 01/09/2024 or current date after 01/09/2024

Edit the End Date field, if applicable, and then click Save.

~ If you selected the incorrect End Date, then type the correct date in the End Date field or use the calendar to select the correct End Date.

~ Full Year End Date: 05/17/2024

~ Semester 1 or A End Date: 01/08/2024

~ Semester 2 or B End Date: 05/17/2024
