Grading categories allow you to organize graded materials in your course. At least one grading category is required for you to use the gradebook.

For all eAcademy courses, create the following grading categories. Do not weight the categories once you have created them.

~ Assessments

~ Assignments

~ Discussions

Please do not create any additional categories.

Navigate to your Schoology course.

From the left navigation menu, click Grade Setup.

To the right of Categories, click Add.

Category Name: Enter the word Assessments and click Create. DO NOT EDIT Calculated by or Drop lowest.

Repeat these steps and create two more categories: Assignments, Discussions.
