Use the Westmoreland Intermediate Unit’s H5P WordPress site to create H5P activities.

NOTE: If you do not have an account for the WIU H5P WordPress site, please submit a Help Desk ticket and request one.

Log in using your WIU email address and provided password. If you cannot remember your password, please submit a Help Desk ticket.

From the left menu, click H5P Content, and then click Add New.

If desired, sort the Content Types by the choices next to Show.

To learn more about an activity, click Details to the right of the activity name.

Click the Back arrow to return to the Content Type list, click Content Demo to see a demonstration, or click Use to begin creating the H5P activity.

Depending on the activity you select, you can view an example and/or a tutorial. Follow all the tutorial instructions as you create the H5P activity.

Display Options: Select your display options.

  1. Display toolbar below content: If unchecked, none of the display options will appear below the activity.

  2. Allow users to download the content: When checked, you will see the word Reuse below the activity, which allows you to download the .h5p file.

  3. Display Embed button: When checked, you will see the word Embed below the activity, which allows you to view and copy the activity’s embed code.

  4. Display Copyright button: When checked, you will see the words Rights of use below the activity, which displays any copyright information you included in the activity. For example, you may need to provide attribution for any images you include.

When finished adding in content and editing the settings, click Create on the right side of the page.
