A: Some menus can have different dividing characters than the usual , comma (examples: |, /, ∙). When you see a menu like this it should be replaced with this normal approach:
If it is one dot we will replace it with “&”.
If multiple dots we replace the first occurrences with a comma and then the final dot with “&”.
Ex: “Soups ‧ Salads” -> “Soups & Salads”.
“Soup ‧ Salad ‧ Pizzas” -> “Soups, Salads & Pizzas”

To become more efficient, once you notice a menu that has this format, then you can use the Replacers feature to auto-replace these on extract. It will not auto-replace parts that have already been transcribed and so should be set up early on.
In a Fragment, from the right hand menu go to Replacers - here you can add the Input (eg: | ) and then the Output (eg: , ).
