A: Meat Temperature - should be added to:

  • ALL steaks (even if not specified)

  • burgers/other beef items ONLY when specified (the phrase "cooked to temperature" may be a hint you need to add that extra)

Even if not specified on the menu, you should add the meat temperature extra whenever you see a beef steak item listed on a menu as a main course (entrees, mains, lunch, dinners etc).

Common beef steak names you may across (that might not specifically use the word "steak"):

  • Filet mignon

  • Rib-eye

  • Sirloin

  • Tri Tip

  • Brisket

⚠️ Note: in general, you shouldn't add meat temperature extra to beef or steak sandwiches, unless specifically stated as a choice on the menu.
