A: Sometimes you need a way to incorporate different languages within a menu when transcribing.
This is most common when working in an English (US) menu, but the cuisine is that of a different country, such as:
Spanish / Mexican
Italian
French
The issue is that the spell checker built into Woflow defaults the language to that of the menu language. You can check the menu language at any time by clicking on the breadcrumbs onto the Restaurant name:
When attempting to transcribe a menu with foreign words in it, you will see spell checking issues:
Setting up Pattern to include multiple languages
When adding fields to a new pattern, in edit, you can add additional languages. You can either remove the previous language, or add a new language to it. If you have more than 1 language for a given field, then the spell checker will check in each language's dictionary.
Then when you use this pattern, it'll check each dictionary and not flag incorrect spellings if the language applies:

Some menus require both a foreign language, and English. In these instances, you can add a second Title and Description field and apply a different language to them, when building a pattern:
