A: The Checkup tab in Menu Pages serves the same function as the spell checker that appears when transcribing.
It is an automated spell checker with two buttons:
Green check mark: Change the word in red to the green suggested word.
Black + sign: The word in red is correct, add it to this restaurant's word library.
Why is this useful?
This should help catch grammatical errors and transcription mistakes before the menu reaches QA;
Words you added to the library will no longer be flagged as a spelling mistake moving forward.
Warning
If you add a word with incorrect spelling or capitalization, the menu will auto-correct the same word throughout the menu to that incorrect spelling or capitalization
Example: "Everest" is a proper noun and therefore should always be capitalized.
If you add the word "everest" to the menu's word library, then all occurrences of the word throughout the menu will appear as "everest" instead of as "Everest".
