Click the "Reorder Categories" button at the top right of the Menu Review page. We've put a red box around it below:

This will cause the category panel to open up on the left hand side of your menu.

Hover your mouse over the category you want to delete and click the trash can icon.

Note that if you want to delete a category, Woflow will ask you to type out the name of category as confirmation. This is a safety net so you can't delete a category by accident.

Please note that the name of the category needs to be typed exactly the same. So if you're typing in the name of the category and its still not deleting, it may because there's a hidden space at the end of the name or somewhere in the middle that you're not including.

Notice in the image above, there are spaces between the apostrophes and the name like this: " White ". This should signal to you that there are hidden spaces before and after the word White that need to be included if you want to delete the category. Ideally, category names do not have any extra/unnecessary spacing. The extra spaces issue might occur if someone is copying and pasting in a name and accidentally included a space or if they hit the space bar too many times when they were typing.

Root categories are parent categories. They should be created if you need to add subcategories to the menu. You know it's a root category if the name is in italics and shows other categories indented beneath it.

You will need to delete all the subcategories or click and drag all the subcategories out of the root category before you can delete the root category.
