What is the difference between "made to order", "cooked to order", and "cooked to temperature"?

Always review the client’s style guide first before proceeding with transcription.

Occasionally, menus may contain words that you do not recognize or understand. These might be typographical errors but they may also be the name of a dish that you haven’t heard of.

Indicators that something might be a dish:

  • Capitalized

  • Word/Phrase is used multiple times in the menu

  • Featured in a list of ingredients
