Replacing a Form Will NOT Affect Previous Submissions; Only New Submissions Going Forward

If I (or WorkBright) replace a form in my WorkBright account, will it change the submissions of the people who have previously completed it? Or, will it automatically reassign the form to everyone that completed it previously?

Replacing a form in WorkBright does NOT affect previous versions of the form -- only new submissions going forward. A completed and signed form is a legal document and accurately represents the form and the onboardee’s response at the time of completion.

Even if an onboardee’s submission is in “Pending Review” or “Rejected” status, the submission is unchanged.

The onboardee will only see the NEW version of the form if you actively reject or reassign the person the form.

In the example below, if an admin changes the form below by adding a new company logo or changes the language in the body, then actively rejects the submission of an onboardee:

When the Onboardee logs in to sign the new copy, they only see the new version.

But the admin retains the previous version as well in the “historical submissions” of that form for that onboardee, and the previous version prior to the form change are unaffected by the edit to the form.

NOTE: If you "Reassign" a form while it is still in "Pending Review" status, it wipes the submission that was Pending Review from record.
