Rejecting a form is a way to send the form submission back to the onboardee to be recompleted. A form may need to be rejected in the scenario where the onboardee may have made a mistake, missed something, or completed a submission incorrectly.
You can reject a form by clicking the Review button next to the submission in the Inbox under the Onboarding menu:
Or at any time from the onboardee’s profile, even if the submission has already been accepted. To access the submission from the employee profile, click the Forms tab:
Then, click the submission to open it and click the red Reject button to enter a reason:
Your onboardee will receive an email with the subject line “One of your forms has been rejected!” and your note in the body of the email. Here’s an example:
When a submission is rejected, the onboardee will be asked to redo the entire form. There isn’t a way to have them edit a portion of the form. If you have rejected the form by accident, you can mark the rejected form as the current submission. Here is a guide on how to do so.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If an employee chooses to hit “reply” to a form-rejection email, the email will go to a no-response WorkBright email inbox. They will want to reach out to their HR representative directly.
