How do administrators use Writable Journeys?

Administrators can create and share Writable Journeys to 'My District' where teachers can find and copy these resources.

Publishing a Journey to 'My District'.

When you are ready to publish an assignment to 'My District', you will add it to a 'Journey'.

  1. From the 'My Assignments' page, click "My Journeys".

  2. To create a new Journey, click "+ Journey".

    ❗️Note: You can also add assignments to an existing Journey by clicking the pencil icon and following the steps below.

  3. Give your Journey a name, add an optional description, select the assignments or assessments to include, and then click "Create."

    💡Tip! When a Journey is published to 'My District,' all teachers on the license can access it. Include grade levels and genres in the Journey name to help teachers quickly identify which ones fit their grade.

  4. Click the arrow icon for the Journey to share with the district.

  5. Choose the grade level(s) and genre(s) for the collection, add a description if you’d like, then click "Publish."

Unpublishing a Journey from 'My District'

  1. From 'My Assignments', click on "My Journey". Find the Journey that you want to remove from 'My District'.

  2. Click the arrow icon for the Journey you want unpublished.

  3. Click "Unpublish". Your Journey will no longer be shared to 'My District', but will remain in 'My Journeys'.

❗️Note: To remove just one assignment from a Journey, click the pencil icon to edit, then uncheck the box next to that assignment.
