The Calibration Assignments utilize Writable's model response feature, offering teachers the chance to review student writing samples and practice scoring. Upon submitting their review, teachers will receive a comparison of their scores and comments to an exemplar, including explanations for the writing, to help them understand how the rubric applies to specific elements of student writing. This exercise is only for teachers and can be completed either individually or as a group activity.
