AI notetakers are becoming more popular for automating information storage, but most only offer basic options for recording meetings or finding information from them.

Wudpecker is the first in the market to offer the flexibility of recording either with a meeting bot, desktop app, or mobile app.

It also allows you to quickly find information with AI from one or multiple meetings, so you donโ€™t have to manually sift through notes to get the details you need.

To get a better understanding, let's go over the key concepts ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ

How Wudpecker generates meeting notes

We offer a few different ways to record meetings. Once the meeting or the recording is done, Wudpecker automatically starts processing the audio, transcribing it, and creating an AI summary.

The notes will appear in your Wudpecker account in the browser (app.wudpecker.io) in less than 5 minutes.

Summary / Notes

Wudpecker's notes and their titles are 100% editable. The default content sums up the key points and outcomes of the discussions, and lists any possible action items with deadlines.

If you'd like to change the way the summary is automatically generated without having to make edits yourself, you'll have to first add that call into a collection and change that collection's settings. More about collections below.

Transcript & Audio

Wudpecker provides both the meeting transcript and audio recording in one place. You can scroll through the whole conversation, see and edit speaker names, click on any word to listen to that exact part of the audio, and more.

Ask Wudpecker

Don't want to read through the whole summary, let alone transcript, when you just need to find one little detail from the meeting?

We've got you covered. You can Ask Wudpecker for any insights, instruct it to write a follow-up email, give direct quotes that you can click to find them in the transcript, and more.

Group Ask

This is like Ask Wudpecker, but for multiple meetings. Pick and choose any meetings you want from My Calls or collections (more about those below), and ask a question regarding all of them.

You no longer have to spend hours upon hours sifting through different notes yourself.

Collections

Collections offer a neat way to organize your calls into folders.

Here's Hai, our co-founder, explaining all about collections and how they work in practice!
