We have partnered with Flutterwave to make the account funding process simple and straightforward for clients in Africa. We support 13 countries in Africa and 8 major currencies.

Supported regions and currencies

Clients in these regions automatically have the option to make transfers through Flutterwave: Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, South Africa, Tanzania, Cรดte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Cameroon, Guinea, Senegal, and Burkina Faso.

Supported currencies include: Nigerian Naira (NGN), Ghanaian Cedi (GHS), Rwandan franc (RWF), Central African CFA franc (XAF), West African CFA (XOF), Ugandan Shilling (UGX), Zambian Kwacha (ZMW), South African Rand (ZAR)

Deposits

Whether you are making a deposit from the onboarding screen or via Accounts > Deposits, the process is seamless.

  1. Enter an amount (it will automatically show the value in your local currency and transfers fees),

  2. Select payment method

  3. Fill in the details of the payments and make your payment

Here are the payment options available: NGN or USD Card, Bank account (direct debit), M-Pesa, Barter Payment, and Mobile Money options for (Francophone Africa, Ghana, Uganda, Rwanda, and Zambia)

Once your funds have been deposited you're ready to get invested! There's no need to take any action - once the funds reach your account, we will take care of the rest. Your funds will automatically be invested and you will be able to see what your funds are invested in on the main page of the app.

NOTE: Be aware that Flutterwave charges fees, which can be up to 3.8% for deposits. International transfers can take up to 5 business days to settle and reflect in your account. You should receive an email confirmation for all withdrawals, otherwise, contact our support team by email or chat.

For high-value transfers, you can fund your account via USD Wire Transfer. Learn more here. However, funds must be in USD.

Withdrawals

Withdrawal of funds is just as simple as when making deposits. You can access the withdrawal function by navigating to Accounts > Withdrawals.

  1. Enter an amount

  2. Fill in the details of the payment

  3. Select withdraw.

The minimum withdrawable amount is $20.

NOTE: Once initiated, you can not cancel a transfer at this time! There is a mandatory five (5) business day anti-money laundering (AML) holding period when you can not withdraw newly deposited funds.

Flutterwave charges fees vary by region and are paid out in your local currency to your bank account. For instance, withdrawal fees to a Naira bank account are NGN45. It can take up to 10 business days for withdrawals to process.
