Occasionally, you may need to issue a refund to a student. Here's what you need to know.
Refunds are processed through your payment processor, not inside Xperiencify.
When you use XP's order form, it connects directly to your payment processor — either Stripe or PayPal — where the actual transaction takes place. Because the payment lives in your payment processor, that's also where the refund needs to happen.
To issue a refund, simply log into your Stripe or PayPal account and process the refund from there. Xperiencify does not handle or store payment information, so there's nothing to refund directly inside XP.
Quick steps:
Stripe: Log in → Payments → find the transaction → click Refund
PayPal: Log in → Activity → find the transaction → click Refund
If you're unsure how to locate a specific transaction, you can search by the student's email address in either platform.
