Step 3: Adding & Updating Course Content

Introduction

In Step 3, you’ll add all the essential content for your course—this includes training materials, bonuses, replays, and more. This section is organized into three tabs based on content types:

Modules & Trainings
Replays
Bonuses

This guide will walk you through each content type, its purpose, and how to add it to your course. You’ll also find links to more detailed resources about each specific content type.

Adding Modules & Training Content

In Xperiencify, course content is structured into broad chapters called Modules, with specific lessons inside called Trainings.

Steps to Add Modules & Trainings:

Edit the course and navigate to the Add Course Content section.
Click the Modules & Training tab.
Select Add Your First Module.
Name Your Module: Choose something short, catchy, and curiosity-invoking (e.g., "Show Me the Money").
Upload an Image: Use the default image, upload your own, or select one from Unsplash.
Module Description (Optional): Add a one-sentence description to set expectations.
Customize the URL: Create a link directly to this Module.
Assign Points: Reward students with 5-10 XPs for completing the Module.

Once you’ve added at least one module, you can start adding trainings:

Steps to Add Trainings:

Edit the course and navigate to the Modules & Training tab.
Open the Module where you want to add a Training.
Click Add Training.
Training Name: Choose a short, engaging title (e.g., "The Profit Path").
Upload an Image: Use the default or select from Unsplash.
Training Blurb: A brief sentence to describe the Training.
Customize the Training URL: Direct link to the Training.
Set Release Timing: Choose to release immediately or at a future date.
Upload Your Video: Upload directly or embed from YouTube, Vimeo, etc.
Add Actions: Actions help students earn points; include at least one.
Add Resources: Include additional materials like PDFs, DOCs, etc.

Adding Replays

Replays are great for live Q&As, coaching sessions, or open office hours. Here’s how to add them:

Steps to Add Replays:

Edit the course and navigate to the Add Course Content section.
Click the Replays tab.
Click Add New Replay.
Replay Name: Enter a name, upload an image, and add a description.
Customize the Replay Link: Create a direct link.
Set Release Timing: Choose immediate release or set for later.
Set Availability: Make it visible to “Everyone” or only to existing students.
Add Resources: Attach relevant files like PDFs, DOCs, etc.
Add Actions: Include at least one action to keep students engaged.

Adding Bonuses

Bonuses are extra incentives, often with their own sets of trainings. You’ll create a Bonus first, then add individual Bonus Trainings inside it.

Steps to Add Bonuses:

Edit the course and navigate to the Add Course Content section.
Click the Bonuses tab.
Click Add Your First Bonus.
Bonus Name: Enter a name, upload an image, and add a description.
Customize the Bonus URL: Direct link to the Bonus.
Set Release Timing: Choose immediate or future release.
Assign Points: Reward students with around 10 XPs.

Adding Bonus Trainings:

Edit the course and navigate to the Bonuses tab.
Open the Bonus you wish to add Trainings to.
Click Add Your First Training to this Bonus.
Training Name: Enter a title, upload an image, and add a description.
Customize the Training URL: Create a direct link.
Set Release Timing: Choose immediate or future release.
Add Resources: Attach any necessary files.
Add Actions: Include at least one action to ensure student engagement.

Note: To customize the Bonus Training page, head to Step 4 and adjust the Single Training template in your Page Builder.
