With xTiles, you can bring your Google Calendar events and tasks into a single workspace, reducing the need to switch between apps. This makes day-to-day planning simpler and more efficient. The integration supports automatic two-way sync, quick meeting access, and centralized task management, so you can manage both personal and team events from one place.

Benefits of Using xTiles with Google Calendar

Integrating xTiles with Google Calendar makes managing your schedule and tasks simpler and more efficient. Here’s how:

  • Unified View: See all your Google Calendar events and xTiles tasks in one place, so you don’t have to switch between apps.

  • Manage Calendar from xTiles: Create, view, or edit calendar entries directly in xTiles, helping you plan your day, week, or month more easily.

  • Simplified Meeting Management: Add teammates to events or respond to invitations without leaving xTiles.

  • Quick Access to Meetings: Join video calls or meetings with a single click from the event in xTiles. You’ll also receive notifications for upcoming events, so you won’t miss anything.

How to Integrate Google Calendar into xTiles?

Two-way Google Calendar integration is available with an xTiles Plus subscription, while users with a Free Plan can use the one-way feature.

You can initiate your Google Calendar integration in three ways: through your Personal Account Settings, via the Google Calendar Integration Button in your Calendar, or by clicking the Connect Button in your Tasks panel.

Connecting Google Calendar integration to your xTiles account is easy and works the same across all entry points.

So here's the overview of how to connect an integration via Personal Account Settings:

  1. Click on your xTiles account icon.

  2. Select an Integrations section from the dropdown.

  3. Click "Connect Google Calendar".

  4. Choose the desired Google Account in the pop-up window.

  5. Grant all the permissions.

  6. Your Google Calendar is now integrated.

You can also add more Google accounts to the integration. To do this, go to your xTiles account → Integrations → press the "Add Google Calendar" button, and follow the same further actions we've mentioned above.

Where Can You See Your Sync Events in xTiles?

All your synced Google Calendar events appear on the Calendar page in My Planner.
This is the main place for managing your schedule — you can view, edit, and organize both events and tasks by date directly from here. It’s designed to give you a clear overview of your week or month all in one space.

You can access the Calendar either from your My Planner project or by clicking the calendar icon in the top-right corner of xTiles.

Other Places You Can See Events:

  • Today’s Section in the Task Panel: Quickly check events happening today alongside your daily tasks.

  • Calendar View in a Collection: View related events linked to specific projects or collections.

  • Task Screen in the Mobile App: Access your upcoming events on the go through the mobile task view.

The Google Calendar integration is two-way for Google Calendar events, which means that while events from Google Calendar will appear in xTiles, xTiles tasks can't be added to your Google Calendar as events.
