The Pomodoro Timer in xTiles helps you focus and get things done by breaking your work into short, timed sessions with built-in breaks. Think of it as a way to gamify your workflow — work a bit, rest a bit, and keep your momentum going.
You’ll find the Pomodoro Timer button in the top-right corner anywhere in xTiles. Just click on header timer button to start or stop whenever you need.
Make sure to allow browser notifications for xTiles so you don’t miss alerts when a session ends.
On the Free Plan, you can use the Pomodoro Timer for one cycle per day. On Plus and higher plans, there are no limits — you can use the Pomodoro Timer as much as you like.
Pomodoro cycled options
You can choose from different timer modes and switch between them instantly:
25 minutes – Focus Time: For long, focused work sessions
5 minutes – Short Break: Quick recharge between focus sessions
15 minutes – Long Break: Take a longer pause after completing a full cycle
Notifications
When a session ends, you’ll receive:
A browser notification
A sound alert
This lets you know it’s time to take a break or start the next session.
Note: Pomodoro Timers are also available as xTiles widgets. For more on widgets, see our Widgets article.
